Founded in 1995 in Buellton, California, GP Machining was built on a simple principle: deliver precision-machined components that consistently meet and exceed customer expectations. From the very beginning, quality, reliability, and craftsmanship were not goals—they were the foundation of every part produced and every customer relationship established.
Over the years, GP Machining steadily expanded its capabilities, workforce, and facility footprint while investing in advanced CNC machining technology to support increasingly complex customer requirements. The achievement of ISO 9001 certification formalized a longstanding commitment to quality management, while later attaining AS9100D certification positioned the company to serve the rigorous demands of the aerospace and defense industries.
In 2023, GP Machining was acquired by Spectron LLC — a strategic move that transformed the company. Under the leadership of CEO Genette Alcaraz, Spectron has actively invested in GP Machining's growth: adding new CNC equipment, bringing on qualified team members, and building a robust customer service team dedicated to best-in-class quality and on-time delivery performance.
Today, GP Machining operates two shifts from its 13,120-square-foot manufacturing facility and utilizes 16 CNC machining centers to support Aerospace, Defense, Medical, and Commercial markets. We have a talented team with a combined over 150 years of machining experience.
